Welcome to Chez Higgs and your hosts, Bill & Jenny.
Our properties are located in the sleepy Burgundian commune of Corsaint amongst rolling countryside. Each one is equipped and maintained to a high standard and has an enclosed garden with a magnificent view. The nearest shops, restaurant and boulangerie are a 5 minute drive away in the village of Époisses whose cheese was recently voted the best in the World! The picturesque medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois is a 15 minute drive whilst the vineyards of Chablis and the Côte d'Or can all be reached within an hour. The Morvan Park is nearby, a vast area of forests, lakes, small winding lanes and hedgerows, perfect for those long walks and lazy pique-niques!
About your stay
Staying with us is all about stepping back in time and enjoying the peaceful rural surroundings. No busy roads, trains or light pollution - even the church bells stop at night! Some of our guests like to be left to their own devises whilst others welcome help with ideas for things to do and places to visit. You are always welcome to come around (we live nearby) but if during your stay you're too comfortable or out on the road then just send us a message with your questions. Burgundy is a very special region and we want you to get the most out of your stay; after all, our goal is that you will fall in love with the area and join the many guests who return year after year!
